The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Dr. Brenda G. Juárez. Dr. Juárez is a “Social Justice Education” Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts (Amherst). Dr. Juárez is a contributing author to Unhooking from Whiteness: The key to dismantling Racism in the United States; she offers suggestions towards a “lesser shade of white” and “anti-racism requirements for White allies”. Dr. Darron Smith (Victim of Racism) was asked to name any White person who has purged themselves of their White Supremacist conduct and thinking. Dr. Juárez was the first person he named. Dr. Smith indicated that she has rejected her White family members, immersed herself among black people, and is sexually involved with black people. Her rationale is that “the revolution” will come from black people, so that is where she needs to be. Hopefully, Dr. Juárez can provide evidence of how a White Woman entrenching herself in the neighborhoods and bedrooms of black people contributes to end Racism.
