George Zimmerman says he is still under federal investigation for murder of Trayvon Martin

Zimmerman-Univision 300By Scotty Reid – George Zimmerman recently told a Spanish language television program that he is homeless, broke and still under investigation by the U.S. Justice Department for the killing of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman was found not guilty of the 1st degree murder of 17yr-old Trayvon Martin whom he shot after stalking the teenager in a gated Florida community in 2012.

It has been two long years since the U.S. Justice Department and the FBI announced that it was opening an investigation into the killing and according to statements made in an interview by the Univision television program “Aquí y Ahora” that is to air Sunday evening, George Zimmerman said he is still under investigation. Zimmerman was asked if he should have waited for police to arrive instead of stalking the teen before killing him in a confrontation he started, Zimmerman said he could not answer the question because the federal investigation is still open.

In addition to reporting that he was still under investigation by the U.S. Justice Department and F.B.I, Zimmerman claimed that he was homeless, over $7 million dollars in debt and suffering from PTSD.

  1. Really? PTSD, but believed it was part of “G-d’s plan” when he killed a child. PTSD, but traveled across this country and gets in trouble with the law–nothing happens. PTSD, but goes to the gun manufacturer (who made his gun he used to kill Trayvon) and strike a pose. PSTD, but attacked his wife and his girlfriend. PTSD, but he will fight “Black people?” Gimme a break…
