Could Marissa Alexander benefit from the expansion of Stand Your Ground to include warning shots?

Florida lawmakers have advanced legislation that expands on the “Stand Your Ground” law by making it legal to fire a warning shot at a would-be attacker. The warning shot bill was motivated by the case of Marissa Alexander who is being retried after her convictions on gun related assault charges were overturned.

  1. Stand Your Ground seems to be very tied into Interpretation of Racists and we all know what that means for black folks
