The Context of White Supremacy hosts the fourteenth study session on former South African President Nelson Mandela’s autobiography, Long Walk To Freedom (1994). Gus believes this has been an opportunity for Victims of Racism to learn more about the region of South Africa and the business operations of White Terrorism in this location during the 20th century. Last week’s segment offered continued evidence of the White barbarism Madiba and Winnie were subjected to. White jailers obstructed visitation and refused to permit Madiba to attend the funerals of his mother and son. Whites disallowed compassionate contact and constructive reading material, Racists routinely organized time for White Jesus/Christianity. They also encouraged other incarcerated Africans to brutalize Madiba and other political prisoners. This week we’ll get more information about Madiba and other inmate’s imprisonment during the 1970’s. Younger black people continued the effort to end apartheid, and they lacked the cooperation and patience with Whites that Madiba encouraged.
