  1. The Lincolnton-Lincoln County Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) claims that Mr. Richardson (comedian) wasn’t going to perform in “blackface.” Mr. Richardson in the past has performed with well-known acts in entertainment; however, what is considered clean humor to some is still painful and harmful to black people. Especially since we have a black president, this is insensitive to the community at-large. Very disrespectful. When you disrespect your own, who will respect you?

Note: The “blackface” was dropped after protest and the event was rescheduled.
