Campaign to repatriate Dr. Aafia Siddiqui.
From a campaign on behalf of the Imam Jamil Al-Amin aka H. Rap Brown, a former member of SNCC and the Black Panther Party.
As-Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatu:
I have been informed by Sister Karima Al-Amin that Imam Jamil Al-Amin’s blood tests have come back, and he has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma ( Cancer of the plasma cells) If it was not for the pressure that has been put on Bureau of Prisons these results might have been overlooked by this uncaring, unsympathetic Prison Industrial Complex.
The Imam is gravely ill, and the Supermax Prison is no place for a man in his condition to be. We must continue the pressure on the Bureau of Prisons to move Imam Jamil to a prison medical facility.
This is a call to action, contact the BOP, and express your concern over Imam Jamil’s health, and the neglect that he has been experiencing as a result of being incarcerated in facility, and not being afforded the urgent care that is a basic human right.
Please be polite when calling, and leave a message if sent to voicemail. Your call is an expression of concern for the welfare of Imam Jamil.
The contact information for the BOP is as follows:
Imam Jamil’s # is 99974-555
“Please Call the following and request that Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin 99974-555 is moved to the best federal medical facility to receive comprehensive medical treatment for this particular rare cancer.
Federal Bureau of Prisons (202) 307-3198 Press #3 for Office of General Counsel and request that he is moved. You will be transferred to an individual to document the call. Pressing #7 and then #6 for Medical Services simply gives other recordings and was not as effective” Nancy Lockhart
“The believers, in their mutual mercy, love and compassion, are like a (single) body; if one part of it feels pain, the rest of the body will join it in staying awake and suffering fever.”
