Political Prisoner Radio: Update on Imam Jamil Al-Amin w/ Nancy Lockhart

Tonight we are welcome activist and legal analyst Nancy Lockhart to the program. Nancy has been involved in efforts on the behalf of political prisoner Jamil Al-Amin formerly known as H Rap Brown. We will give you the latest update with his status and Nancy will share with us how she came to know him. She will also share information on a case she is currently working on behalf of a family in Georgia where a young Black man, Damien Wicks was convicted of a crime with no evidence and sentenced by a judge who made inappropriate comments to 40 years in prison.

We will also share updates on upcoming events on the behalf of political prisoners.

Political Prisoner Radio is a program that seeks to educate the public on the individual cases of political prisoners and prisoners of war being held by the United States government, many for decades under torturous conditions. It features former political prisoners, advocates, family members and organizations work to free these individuals. The program often discusses the historical political repression and social conditions that existed and still exist within the United States of America.
