The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.

Distinguished black journalist and Pennsylvania inmate Mumia Abu-Jamal spent a brief period in the hospital after suffering from diabetic shock. His family and supporters were given little access or information. Speaking of greater confinement, Whites in Louisiana denied compensation for wrongly convicting and incarcerating Glenn Ford; he spent thee decades on death row. He now has stage four cancer. University of Cape Town students celebrated the removal of Cecil Rhodes’ cancerous statue; they insisted that the monument to White Terrorism had no place in a healthy academic environment. And from South Africa to South Carolina, White pathology and destruction of black life remains undiluted, flagrant, constant. Walter Scott was shot repeatedly in the back while running away from a White officer. His black mother has expressed forgiveness for her child’s White killer, and Whites have promised a truck-load of body cameras and sensitivity training. So things are looking better.
