The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 06/20/15

Saturday, June 20th 9:00PM Eastern/ 6:00PM Pacific
Compensatory Call Inlisten-000000The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.

#ANTIBLACKNESS

It’s challenging to remember the most troubling racial news of the week was initially Rachel Dolezal. The hijinks of the former Spokane, Washington NAACP president were instantly submerged by the White depravity of Charleston, South Carolina. Dylann Storm Roof invaded the Emanual A.M.E. Church on a White Terrorist mission. He methodically murdered 9 black people – including State Senator Rev. Clementa C. Pinckney. Joseph L. Jones and others assert this was a political assassination; Mr. Pinckney had a long record of challenging Racism, including public opposition to the police killing of Walter Scott earlier this year. Professor Anthea Gibson and numerous others have poignantly noted that Roof has not been branded a “thug” or a “terrorist” – as is typically the case with White murderers. Gus’ BFF Amy Goodman described the suspected killer as “having apparent sympathies to White Supremacy.” Whites have steered much of the focus to wrangling over the confederate flag – as if it’s removal will neutralize whites/racism.
