In the news,

President Obama commuted the sentences of a few federally held victims of the USA’s failed Drug War which is used to fill the neo-slave plantations with neo-slaves. Is this a sign that the Obama administration intends to get serious about modern slavery or if this is just a token act?

Speaking of the Drug War, “Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, the billionaire kingpin who escaped from a Mexican prison over the weekend, is the notorious face of the Sinaloa cartel, the world’s most powerful drug trafficking organization.” according to NBC corporate news. What the news corporations are not reporting on is the collaboration between the Sinaloa cartel and the US Drug Enforcement Agency to smuggle drugs into the USA.

A federal judge has ruled that the mother of a 16 yr-old Mexican teen who was shot down by border control agents can sue in the federal courts. The teen was walking down a street in Mexico when a border agent shot him several times in the back. Considering the gun walking scheme run by the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), under both the Bush and Obama administrations, every victim of gun violence in Mexico where the weapon can be tied to the US government, should follow up with their own lawsuits. That could potentially be tens of thousands of victims over the years.
