The C.O.W.S. Counter-Racist Review: Sue Africa

The Context of White Supremacy hosts a counter-racist review of Sue Africa’s recent visit to the broadcast. Sue Africa is one of the few White members of Philadelphia MOVE organization. She’s been with he group for more than three decades, spent time in prison, and was confined to a mental institution as a result of her activities. Ramona Africa said that Sue Africa has suffered as much or more than any other member of MOVE. During her visit to The C.O.W.S., Sue Africa agreed that it is logical for non-white people to not trust any White person until White Supremacy has been permanently eliminated. However, she was mightily disgruntled about being questioned with suspicion as a White Woman. She did share fascinating anecdotes about how she practiced White Supremacy against black members of MOVE; she testified that she used a coat made by a member’s black grandmother as a blanket for her hounds. When asked if she continues to practice Racism (White Supremacy) and why she communicates with such vulgarity, she became defensive and accused Gus of being a “cop.” This represents one of the more fascinating, informative segments of The C.O.W.S.
