“Inside the Activists Studio is an interview style, web-based series, modeled after the popular T.V. show Inside the Actors Studio. This episode will feature MOVE member Ramona Africa. Come hear her story in person!”

In addition to the Black Panther Party, currently a US-held political prisoner, Mumia Abu-Jamal was one the lone voices in mainstream media reporting on the attack on the MOVE organization by the FBI, Philadelphia police and firefighters which has been documented in the film “Let the Fire Burn (1985 MOVE Bombing in Philadelphia, PA)”. Mumia would become affiliated with the MOVE organization founded by John Africa who was one of the victims that perished in the fire.

Today we will be joined during the first hour by Sophia Williams who is a self affirming radical activist with The Campaign to Bring Mumia Home for 3+ years. She is a resident of the Bronx, NY.

The rest of the program will bring you some of the news from a Black Perspective.

  1. I enjoy BTR very much, I live in Texas and I truly belive if some programming were developed to encourage working poor whites to open there eyes they are not immune to White supremacy and indeed are victims it would strengthen the entire cause immensely. They are players without a team right now.
