The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog. 

#ANTIBLACKNESS

As if more whiteness was needed, the northeastern seaboard of the United States was ransacked with a late winter blizzard. Across the pond, Whites celebrated the defeat of bigotry as Geert Wilders was trounced in the Netherland’s general election. Oft compared to the current U.S. president, many thought Wilders would mimic Trump’s success. Reiterating the worthlessness of black life, a total of 10 days of suspensions were handed out to a Cleveland, Ohio dispatcher and patrol officer whose violations contributed to the 2014 shooting death of 12-year-old Tamir Rice. No one was ever criminally charged for Rice’s death. The library bearing eponymous honor to Cynthia Graham Hurd, one of the nine victims of the 2015 Mother Emanuel AME Church massacre, was plastered with Racist graffiti. White Terrorist vandalism and property damage has been rampant in 2017.
