The Context of White Supremacy hosts our Thursday weekly caucus on Workplace Racism. The reason for this broadcast is to bolster non-white people’s problem-solving abilities and to bolster how black people think, speak, act and control emotions while on the job. Any listeners who’ve unearthed the optimal technique to minimize conflict with White and/or non-white co-workers, evade demotions, write-ups, terminations or other racial animus we experience under Racist labor conditions should be first to call in and share specifics. We always welcome the experiences of Black “entrepreneurs;” please, let us know how being “self employed” changes your contact with Whites on the job. We’ll hear counter-racist tactics from listeners as well as individual reflections from your own work environment. Gus encourages victims of racism to record our workplace experiences. Documenting your thoughts and workplace incidents is more dependable than memory, and the act of writing can help filter your thinking. We’ll also request that non-white listeners share important sections of the policy and procedure from your current place of employment.
