The Context of White Supremacy hosts our Thursday weekly forum on Workplace Racism. The purpose for this program is to refine non-white people’s problem-solving skills and to improve how black people think, speak, act and manage emotions while at work. Any listeners who’ve figured out the best strategy to reduce strife with White and/or non-white co-workers, avoid demotions, write-ups, terminations or other aggression we experience under Racist labor conditions should be first to call in with details. We always welcome the experiences of “black entrepreneurs;” please, inform us on how being “self-employed” improves your work experience. We’ll hear counter-racist techniques from listeners as well as individual reflections from your own work environment. Gus encourages Victims of Racism to document important workplace events. Documenting your thoughts and workplace occurrences is more dependable than memory, and the act of documenting can clarify your thinking. We’ll also ask that non-white listeners share important portions of the policy and procedure from your current place of employment.
