The Context of White Supremacy hosts our Thursday weekly forum on Workplace Racism. The reason for this program is to refine non-white people’s problem-solving ability and to improve how black people think, speak, act and control emotions while on the job. Any listeners who’ve calculated the best way to minimize conflict with White and/or non-white co-workers, sidestep demotions, write-ups, terminations or other aggression we experience under Racist labor conditions should promptly call in with particulars. We always welcome the experiences of “black entrepreneurs;” please, tell us how being “self-employed” makes your work experience better. We’ll hear counter-racist recommendations from listeners as well as individual reflections from your own work history. Gus recommends Victims of Racism write down important workplace events. Documenting your thoughts and workplace occurrences is more dependable than memory, and the act of documenting can clarify your thinking. We’ll also ask that non-white listeners share important portions of the policy and procedure from your current place of employment.
