Video: HIV/AIDS drugs worth 7 million dollars allegedly missing in Uganda

Members of Civil Society Organisations monitoring the distribution of HIV drugs say the government has not released money to purchase ARVs for the final quarter of 2017. The civil society activists have accused the ministry of finance of diverting money meant for HIV drugs to plug other financing shortfalls in the budget. The communications officer, Ministry of Finance, Jim Mugunga says the funds were never diverted but instead were directed to the respective agencies to purchase the ARVS for HIV/AIDS patients.
