BTR News: 2nd Amendment, Gun Control, Slavery & Jim Crow

The liberal argument against the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms that it was passed to create “slave patrols” or militias has some truth to it but it has nothing to do with today’s debate on gun rights and is an appeal to the emotions of Black people to be on their side of the debate. However, you can not talk about gun control and slavery and not mention the historically, gun control has always disproportionately affected Black people.
