Deandre Harris, Victim of White Terrorism Found Not Guilty Of Assaulting Seditionist Harold Crews

BTR News (Charlottesville) – Deandre Harris, who was then a 20-year old hip-hop artist, and educator, viciously attacked by first white supremacist terrorists in Virginia and then by suspected racist prosecutors, was found not guilty of misdemeanor assault and battery charges in court today. Harris was initially charged with a felony, but after public outrage, that charge was later reduced to a misdemeanor.

Harris’ defense attorneys and Harris have always maintained that he acted in self-defense when set upon by a group of terrorists in a parking garage during a Charlottesville, VA rally that was staged by racist and suspected terrorists upset over the planned removal of a monument to Confederate traitor Robert E. Lee.

In a separate incident, one of the white supremacist terrorists drove a speeding car into a crowd of anti-racist protesters resulting in the death of Heather Heyer.

Harris who had a bench trial was found not guilty by Charlottesville General District Court Judge Robert Downer Jr. on a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery against suspected terrorist and seditionist Harold Crews, a North Carolina attorney and state chairman of The League of the South. The League of the South is a neo-Confederate group that advocates for a second Southern secession and a society dominated by “European Americans.”

Judge Downer said during the trial that “I don’t see that Mr. Harris did anything wrong that day,” and “It’s all on tape for me to see.”
