Today Diamond & Silk, the two “popular” social media personalities and African-American Entrepreneurs are facing questions on whether or not they perjured themselves before Congress when asked about FEC financial records filed by the Trump campaign in 2016. When a presidential political campaign brings in “outside help”, to give a speech which is basically what Diamond & Silk did, people in similar roles in past campaigns have been paid as much as $15,000.00 for one speech. They both agreed they were not paid for “consulting work” as the Trump Campaign said in the records but were only paid for their travel costs. The two women also seemed confused about the nature of the questions from Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY).

In summation, it looks like the Trump campaign used the two African American women as free labor and that sounds an awful lot like slavery, especially given the optics here. Even if a prosecutor would determine that the Trump campaign committed no crime in lying on a financial report, it was bad business to weaponize these unsuspecting Black women and their blackness and then not tell them they were listed as political consultations which could require the payments to be reported to the IRS as business or personal income. The Trump campaign seemed little concerned about the women’s welfare other than the sick entertainment value suspect racist white people get out of minstrel shows. Some historians have called Trump’s campaign one of the most racialized political campaigns ever run in US history which would be pretty hard to do considering the long list of suspects.

Also during the first hour, we will be joined by a friend of the show, Mr. Kwabena Rasuli of Clear The Airwaves Project to discuss “vulgarity” in the use of the language used every day in American society.

Merriam-Webster Definition of “vulgar”

1 a : lacking in cultivation, perception, or taste : coarse
b : morally crude, undeveloped, or unregenerate : gross
c : ostentatious or excessive in expenditure or display : pretentious
2 a : offensive in language : earthy
b : lewdly or profanely indecent
3 a : generally used, applied, or accepted
b : understood in or having the ordinary sense
they reject the vulgar conception of miracle —W. R. Inge
4 : vernacular the vulgar name of a plant
5 a : of or relating to the common people : plebeian
b : generally current : public the vulgar opinion of that time
c : of the usual, typical, or ordinary kind

Mr. Rasuli will weigh in on “controversy” that has some people like Mr. Donald J. Trump feigning concern and clutching their pearls over “vulgar” language used by comedian Michelle Wolf who used to work as a Senior Women’s Issues Correspondent for on the satirical news television program The Daily Show.

He’ll also fill us in on a hashtag campaign calling attention to the lyrics of songs promoted by the mainstream called #LyricsMatter

Trump instead decided to rally his “base” and while his rally did not get the coverage from MSM that his empty podiums did during the 2016 campaign, but when he did finally appear, Trump espoused some of the most hateful, seemingly racist and vile ideas which encouraged his “base” to violently attack dissenters at some of his rallies. These Americans who were beaten were beaten solely for expressing First Amendment protected political speech on American soil.

However, the White House Correspondents‘ Dinner is put on by the very same corporate media heads and their officers who for decades have worked with the US government to disseminate disinformation to the American public and the rest of the world. Its history is interesting and we would love to access a way back machine for newspapers in 1915 when President Woodrow Wilson attended the screening of the racist white terrorist recruitment film Birth of Nation on the evening of March 21, 1915. Come to think of it, while the Trump administration is reportedly building a database compiled of the names of journalists, bloggers and “social media influencers”, the press has been under-reporting the story to not simply not covering it to its degree of importance, considering some of their “journalist” could make the list depending on perceived political or religious ideology. This is a revelation that people concerned about the “free press” should demanding congressional hearings over.

Last but not least, international human rights advocates are issuing a call for a military arms embargo placed on Israel as its IDF soldiers are captured on numerous videos shooting unarmed protesters demanding a right to return to their homes in occupied Palestine.

The victims included thousands who have been injured along with the dead that range from children to adults from protesters to members of the news press.

The wholesale slaughter of the unarmed peaceful protesters moved Israeli-American actress Natalie Portman, known for one of her iconic roles in the iconic anti-police state film “V for Vendetta”, to boycott an award that includes a $1 million dollar gift from an Israeli based organization that was also hosting Israel’s racist and xenophobic prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
