The Context of White Supremacy hosts our 5th study session on Pamela Evans Harris’s second publication, BLACK LOVE IS A REVOLUTIONARY ACT. Before her tragic passing in February of this year, #PamTheGreat founded the http://RacismWS.com website and authored numerous books and reports that explicitly confront the problem of White Supremacy and offer suggestions on how to counter racism. Pam was one of The C.O.W.S. listeners most beloved guests and visited the broadcast countless times between 2010 to 2017. Deeply saddened by her transition, we’re investigating her work to honor her life and to learn constructive information to permanently eradicate the System of White Supremacy. Pam disclosed that the primary motivator for this book was to help obliterate the enormous rancor between black females and black males. Last week’s session investigated the concept of White Identified black people – that is, Victims of Racism who do not see Whites as Racist. These non-white people endorse Racist perspectives and often regard black people as being deserving of Racism. The text emphasized how black females are conditioned to despise their hair, melanin-rich skin and non-white features.
