The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Mr. Jim Spodick. Mr. Spodick is a White man and a long time Wisconsin resident. We’ll discuss his documentary film, Pattern Or Practice. Mr. Spodick explores a pattern of non-white bars and restaurants being closed over the past several years. “The City of Racine once had over 25 [non-white] owned taverns and restaurants… today less than 10 remain.” Local news outlets have countered that these establishments have been closed as a result of repeated calls to enforcement officers (police) in response to uncouth behavior and even violence. A few White Racine residents have also alleged that Mr. Spodick has ulterior motives for creating this film and tarring local officials as Racist. We’ll get more details while keeping in mind that generally speaking, White people don’t betray other Whites for practicing Racism.
