The Context of White Supremacy welcomes the return of NYCResistance. He’s dedicated a sizable portion of his time and energy to documenting, conducting reconnaissance and publicizing the widespread and systemic misconduct of the New York Police Department. NYCResistance’s first visit with us was between the strangulation of Eric Garner and the shooting death of Michael Brown, Jr. In that time, legions of White officers have been absolved for killing black people. We’ll get his thoughts on the ongoing protests that have disrupted Christmas cheer in the empire state. There was a seismic shift in NYC politics with the December 20th shooting of two non-white NYPD officers. The head of the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, Pat Lynch, actor James Woods and a host of other Whites have blasted Mayor Bill De Blasio (cowbell), Al Sharpton, President Obama and the protesters in general for instigating the shooting. We’ll get his thoughts on the efficacy of the marches, the collective mood in the city since the shooting, and the allegations that NYPD officers are feeling terrorized and swarmed with violent threats.
