The Context of White Supremacy welcomes activist, storyteller and politico Tanzila Ahmed. Ms. Ahmed is a Los Angeles based non-white female who hosts the #GoodMuslimBadMuslim podcast. You can read her monthly installments on the Radical Love column. She organizes with Bay Area Solidarity Summer and South Asians For Justice (Los Angeles). Earlier this year she wrote fascinating piece titled, “Why I Don’t Date White Men.” Ms. Ahmed states frankly that her decision began as a political choice in response to White Supremacy, but evolved to where she simply does not find White Men attractive. She offers intimate details of former White boyfriends, and how those relationships reminded her of the ubiquitous power dynamics of Racism – White always dominates. This is the second time The C.O.W.S. hosts a writer from The Aerogram.
