The C.O.W.S. w/ Rachel Décoste: Racism in Canada

Monday, January 11th 8:00PM Eastern/ 5:00PM Pacific

The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Rachel Décoste. A software engineer, poet, motivational speaker, and political analyst, Ms. Décoste was born and raised in Ottawa and speaks French, English and Spanish. She’s currently enrolled in George Washington University’s Masters program. Ms. Décoste has a well earned reputation for speaking and writing honestly about Racism and global terrorism against black people. We’re eager to get her thoughts on the reception and coverage of the 2015 film series The Book Of Negroes. Ms. Décoste asserts that most of the hoopla conveniently avoided and minimized the history of Canadian anti-black Racism. We’ll also ask how African-American counter-racist efforts inspire and influence activism in Canada. We’ll also discuss the White passion for Donald Trump and if a similar phenomena could transpire north of the border.
