The Context of White Supremacy hosts our Thursday weekly caucus on Workplace Racism. The reason for this broadcast is to refine non-white people’s problem-solving abilities and to fine-tune how black people think, speak, act and manage emotions while on the job. Any listeners who’ve unearthed the ultimate method to reduce strife with White and/or non-white co-workers, avoid demotions, write-ups, terminations or other abuse we experience under Racist labor conditions should be first to dial in with specifics. We always welcome the experiences of “black entrepreneurs;” please, inform us on how being “self-employed” alters your contact with Whites on the job. We’ll hear counter-racist techniques from listeners as well as individual reflections from your own work environment. Gus encourages Victims of Racism to document critical workplace events. Documenting your thoughts and workplace occurrences is more dependable than memory, and the act of documenting can clarify your thinking. We’ll also ask that non-white listeners share important portions of the policy and procedure from your current place of employment.
