The C.O.W.S. Neutralizing Workplace Racism 11/09/18

Friday, November 9th 8:00PM Eastern/ 5:00PM Pacific

The Context of White Supremacy hosts our Friday weekly summit on neutralizing Workplace Racism. This segment is explicitly formatted to improve non-white people’s problem-solving skills and refine how black people think, speak, act and manage emotions while on the job. Any listeners who’ve figured out a code to extinguish conflicts with White and/or non-white co-workers, bypass demotions, write-ups, terminations or other forms of violence we experience under Racist work conditions should be first to dial in with particulars. We always appreciate the opportunity to learn about the experiences of “black entrepreneurs.” Please, share with us how being “self employed” improves your labor experience.  We’ll continue to review how attempted counter-racists can best utilize recording devices to solve problems without creating new problems in the workplace. In addition to requesting training opportunities in writing, Gus also recommends that Victims of Racism make notes about important workplace occurrences. Documenting your thoughts and workplace occurrences is more reliable than memory, and the act of writing can organize your thinking. We’ll also ask that non-white listeners share crucial portions of the policy and procedure from your current place of employment.

  1. I am very thankful for this show. Recently I was laid off in a situation I thought was racially motivated. However because other non-white people in my family have always told me that the racism is not as prevalent as I think and their conversation devolved into “personal responsibility” over systemic racism.
I have suffered from depression for most of my 43 years on earth. Medication, therapy, even a brief stop in a mental hospital has not helped me with this issue. From your show (which was recommended to me by a former coworker) and from purchasing Mr. Fuller book, I am now conscious of this system though I have a lot to learn about it like other victims of RWS.
Though currently unemployed i would like to find out how to donate to the show. I clicked the donate button for PayPal however it shows a fund raiser for 2017 and I was not sure if this was the correct place for a donation.
