If you are awarded a grammy, you are considered to be the best artist among your peers. The problem is, the Grammys is a white-dominated organization and while it has long "included" non-white people, specifically Black people in the music business, the industry continues to support, promote and reward music that is harmful to black people in general and black women and girls specifically.

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.
The season of transition continues. Yuri Kochiyama died at the age of 93; Minister Malcolm X literally died in her arms. While White governed media insists that Elliot Rodger was a woman-hating misogynist, few White sisters supported V. Stiviano, who was allegedly called a nigger and pummeled by at least one White brute in New York; charges have been filed. Stiviano received far less empathy than Racist Suspect Justin Bieber, who spent the week reciting bible verses and apologizing for a pair of video releases depicting him making Racist comments. Buffalo, NY’s Janelle Ambrosia provided her own candid camera moment of tacky Racism – she didn’t seem too afraid of a black male. And TIME magazine christened the second season of Orange Is The New Black; they plastered Laverne Cox on the cover and declared transgender rights the next phase of “Civil Rights”.
