Another police snuff film was released today showing Cincinnati Police Officer Ray Tensing shooting and killing motorist Sam Dubose. Sam Dubose had his face blown off and Cincinnati officials were hesitant to release the video to the public for fear of it sparking riots.
City Manager Harry Black said before the video’s release, “It’s not a good situation,” Black said. “It’s a tragic situation, someone has died that did not necessarily need to die.”
University of Cincinnati Police Officer Ray Tensing was indicted today on murder charges. Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters in a press conference said Tensing could face life in prison if convicted. “He purposely killed him,” said Deters, saying that Tensing shot Dubose in the head. Deters called the killing “asinine” and “senseless.”
