The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.
Similar Spring 2017 concludes with Prime Minister Theresa May winning the election, but losing a substantial amount of power in her shabby victory over Jeremy Corbin. The first week of Bill Cosby criminal trial concluded. The prosecution completed their argument, and there’s speculation the former entertainment mogul may testify. Speaking of comedy, chaos rained over the Trump Administration, as former FBI director Jamey Comey testified before the Senate. His workplace notes became key evidence. One of Gus’s BFF’s, Bill Maher, spent the week backpedalling and apologizing after he referenced himself as a “house nigga” while speaking with Republican Senator Ben Sasse. Victims of Racism like Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, who’s repeatedly been a guest on the white comic’s late night show, have been voluntary character witnesses and insist Maher is not a Racist. Again spotlighting the attention to social media, Harvard University rescinded admission to at least a dozen students charged with posting racist commentary online. These Ivy League-bound White teens demonstrated supreme understanding of White Supremacy. The Guardian reports, “One message referred to a Mexican youth being hanged as “piñata time.”
