LIVE: 40th session of UN Human Rights Council begins in Geneva

Ruptly is live as the 40th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council takes place in Geneva on Monday, February 25. A blacklist of Israeli firms doing business over the Green Line is expected to be published by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. Israel and the United States have opposed the publication of the list, which could open up the companies to legal action. The rights of prisoners worldwide were also brought up.
