The C.O.W.S. HOW TO WIN FRIENDS AND INFLUENCE PEOPLE PART VI

Friday, July 19th 8:00PM Eastern/ 5:00PM Pacific

The Context of White Supremacy begins our 6th and final study session on Dale Carnegie’s How To Win Friends And Influence People (1936). It seems many in our listening audience found at least a few of Carnegie’s suggestions constructive. The last portion of the text offers specific details on improving leadership. As with most of what we’ve read thus far, he continues to advise against excessive criticism. He encourages gargantuan doses of the opposite – sincere praise and encouragement. Carnegie also recommends that we reference our own errors before spotlighting other’s missteps. This should prove especially helpful with Victims of Racism, as all of us were astronomically confused at some point. No one should be ridiculed for being confused/victimized.
