The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Chris Osterndorf. Mr. Osterndorf is a graduate of DePaul University’s Digital Cinema program. He is a contributing writer for DailyDot and HeavyMedia and generally focuses on entertainment and pop culture. Gus first became aware of Osterndorf as a result of his 2014 essay, The history of White people hating LeBron James. Osterndorf was rather candid in dissecting how James’ confidence and #BlackSelfRespect infuriates whitefolks. This piece was approximately a month before the shooting death of Michael Brown Jr. Osterndorf – and many other Whites – devoted increasing ink to police terrorism and race. Last month he penned an intriguing report challenging the concept of “good” cops; he declares, “You can’t have a good cop in a bad police culture.” Gus just completed an article applying Osterndorf’s logic to Whites: You can’t have good White people in a Racist White culture.
