8 PM EST - “The last four or five hundred years of European contact with Africa produced a body of literature that presented Africa in a very bad light and Africans in very lurid terms. The reason for this had to do with the need to justify the slave trade and slavery.” - Chinua Achebe

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.
Race Soldiers in the U.S. paused the plantation for the 4th of July. black citizens had their view of the fireworks blocked by the numerous nooses Whites have recently brandished to terrorize and intimidate. It’s been so intense, a black male in Alabama, David Sadler, staged a faux hanging to protest the the barbaric abuse of black people. Fresh after the horrors of Flint, Michigan’s water being poisoned, a growing number of black employees of the Chicago Water Department charge that they’ve been subjected to a racially poisonous environment, denied seniority, and that black females were targeted for sexually crude verbal assaults. A class action lawsuit has been filed. In Virginia, the Klu Klux Klan has weekend plans for an armed march in protest of a Confederate statue that’s been scheduled for removal. Virginia is an open-carry state. And right on cue for the country’s “birthday” and vivid recounts of U.S. history, Sally Hemings, one of the enslaved and raped black people Thomas Jefferson “owned,” will now have her own display at Monticello… which is down the road a piece from the armed KKK rally.
