The church is being urged to take a lead role in fighting gender-based violence GBV. Bishop Emeritus Dustan Bukenya of Mityana Diocese says most cases of GBV are committed by men and these have resulted in broken families. He spoke during a marathon organized to commemorate the 16 days of activism against GBV at Mengo Secondary school in Kampala.
