The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.

The season of transition continues. Actress, Activist, Wife, Mother, Ruby Dee died this week at the age of 91. Younger folks likely remember her roll in Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing (1989); older listeners and film fans remember her for Raisin In The Sun (1961), No Way Out (1950) and Buck and The Preacher (1972). The academic school year is winding down, but the tacky displays of Racism remain robust and global. Billions of eye balls are trained on Brazil for the 2014 World Cup. Don’t think it’s just Donald Sterling, White people’s ball games always manifest Racism. Hopefully, the football festivities will be enough to take our mind off the litany of shooting incidents over the past 10 days. From court houses, to schools, to Walmart, Whites unloaded as if they were prepping for a return to Iraq.
