If you are awarded a grammy, you are considered to be the best artist among your peers. The problem is, the Grammys is a white-dominated organization and while it has long "included" non-white people, specifically Black people in the music business, the industry continues to support, promote and reward music that is harmful to black people in general and black women and girls specifically.

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the second study session on Lothrop Stoddard’s world renown work, The Rising Tide Of Color Against White World Supremacy. In the days before her death, counter-racist scientist Dr. Frances Cress Welsing strongly encouraged black people to study Stoddard to better comprehend White Supremacy in the 21st century. A journalist and Harvard-educated historian, Stoddard was an intellectual titan during the early 1900’s. He was a prominent advocate of Eugenics – the belief that better Whites should procreate, while lesser Whites and especially non-white people should not reproduce. During the first week’s review of Rising Tide, Madison Grant – another early 20th century thought leader and eugenists, writes an introduction to emphasize the urgent need for Stoddard’s research. Grant and Stoddard are flagrant: “The basic factor in human affairs is not politics, but race.” They propagandize the “superior” achievements of the White minority and bemoan the teeming number of melanated humans on the planet. While discussing so called Asians, Stoddard’s greatest fear is that different Asians begin working together against Whites. We hope students of Dr. Welsing will actively engage in these sessions.
