The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.
Similar to 2014 frenzy surrounding Donald Sterling, the 2017 NBA Finals was sidetracked by the System of White Supremacy. LeBron James‘ California residence was targeted with racist vandalism – nigger was painted on the property. On the even of his seventh consecutive appearance in the championship series, James took the opportunity to discuss the obstacles black people face – even those who have money. James discussed the 1955 lynching of Emmett Till, and the importance of honestly addressing White Supremacy. Speaking of lynching, a White terrorist, Anthony Hammond, attacked an unarmed black California resident. Hammond was arrested and charged with battery and assault and could face “hate crime” charges – he was heard shouting racist epithets before his violent attack. In Oregon, a White passenger on a train, Jeremy Christian, subjected passengers to racist abuse before killing to White men who attempted to intervene.
