The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.
Last Friday, President Donald J. Trump told an Alabama audience that athletes who refuse to partake in the national anthem should be fired. The president called kneeling athletes “a son of a bitch” to the delight of the Huntsville, Alabama crowd. Much of United States has been consumed with these remarks for the past week. More than 200 NFL players took a knee during this past weekend’s national anthem. The mass protest provoked such White outrage, it became difficult to track all of the Racist outbursts. A volunteer Pennsylvania firefighter, Paul Smith, added the Pittsburg Steelers’s coach Mike Tomlin, a black male, to his “no good nigger list.” A white Missouri entrepreneur, Jason Burle, constructed a makeshift doormat that reads, “Lynch Kaepernick.” He insists he’s not Racist. Speaking of lynching, a trio of White Texas brothers are charged with capital murder after they killed an unarmed black male, Xavier Olesko. One of the murder suspects was allegedly friends with Olesko. They tricked and robbed the young man before leaving him for dead.
