The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.
Whites invested much of the week discussing long running allegations of sexual abuse against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein. Weinstein, who’s produced such classics as “Pulp Fiction” and “Gangs of New York,” was fired from the film company bearing his name. Unlike Cosby, he’s not facing criminal charges. Black male actor Terry Crews took this moment to reveal that he too was sexually molested in Hollywood. Crews testified that an entertainment executive groped his genitals in front of his wife. The 6’3″ Crews remained silent because he feared being ostracized in tinseltown. Music titan Eminem was praised by everyone from Colin Kaepernick to LeBron James and Kendrick Lamar for his lyrical smattering of President Donald Trump at this week’s BET awards ceremony. White people talking trash about Trump might be in vogue for the next 7 years. The niggling anthem protests continue with White NFL executives pressuring players to desist with kneeling during the Star-Spangled Banner. Black fans and spectators who’ve refused to rise have been violently attacked and threatened with punitive action.
