The Context of White Supremacy hosts The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.
Oprah Winfrey’s 90 minute interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry drew a gargantuan live audience – the ongoing rona restrictions probably helped, and the reverberations of the conversation have been astounding. Markle told the world that Racism/White Supremacy has been a major problem since the Royal Wedding of 2018. She disclosed that Prince Harry’s family voiced consternation over the skin complexion of the children and discouraged her from seeking support for mental health. Markle even disclosed feeling suicidal, but totally lacking resources. Since the interview, Piers Morgan resigned from his broadcast position after being accused of minimizing Markle’s charges of Racism. In the states, attention is focused on Minnesota as jury selection begins for the trial of Derek Chauvin. Many reports emphasize that no White officer in the history of Minnesota has been convicted for killing a black person. Many seem unsure if George Floyd’s murder will change this pattern.
