The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 05/22/21 #WhatsGoingOn

The 1921 White Terrorist purge in Tulsa, Oklahoma was again spotlighted as one of the last surviving Victims testified before Congress. Also on the Capitol, the House of Representatives approved an investigation into the Terrorist attack on January 6th of this year. It’s already anticipated this investigation will be rejected by the White-dominated Senate. In Washington state, educators announced that public schools in the state will no longer use SAT or ACT scores for enrollment. Dumping these standardized tests is ostensibly supposed to produce a more “inclusive” enrollment process. Closer to C.O.W.S. listeners, Dr. Ruby Lathon’s father passed away this week. Our warmth and healing energy goes to Dr. Lathon, her siblings, her mother and family. This week also marked a half century since the great Marvin Gaye’s masterpiece, “What’s Going On” was released in 1971.
