If you are awarded a grammy, you are considered to be the best artist among your peers. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Ms. Enola G. Aird, Esq. Aird is a lawyer, an activist mother, and the founder and director of Mothers for a Human Future (MHF), a nonprofit initiative working to preserve our humanity in the face of forces that are pushing us toward what has been called the “post-human”. We discussed her long record of service “To celebrate healing in the Black community and to mobilize Black people to overcome the lie of Black inferiority and the emotional legacies of enslavement and racism so that we can all reach our full potential.” We’ll get her thoughts on the suspicious deaths of black citizens in police custody as well as the trauma of watching the perpetual abuse of black people.
