If you are awarded a grammy, you are considered to be the best artist among your peers. The problem is, the Grammys is a white-dominated organization and while it has long "included" non-white people, specifically Black people in the music business, the industry continues to support, promote and reward music that is harmful to black people in general and black women and girls specifically.

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how eeest to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.
One week after White Brits voted to skip out on the European Union, numerous reports site an increase in overt White Supremacist behavior and harassment of non-whites in England. The victims include BBC reporters Trish Adudu and Sima Kotecha. The United States provided no sanctuary for black journalists as Iowa reporter Emmy Victor was physically assaulted and called a “nigger” by a White Woman. The same White Supremacist, anti-immigrant sentiment roiling in Europe is concurrently fomenting in the US; the White rage erupted in California on Sunday, where a “Neo-Nazi” rally dissolved into a bloody riot with at least seven people suffering stab wounds. All of this coincidentally timed with the celebration of Independence Day and the simultaneous release of “The Purge: Election Year” – a multi-million dollar film franchise that celebrates stalking and killing black people.
