The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 08/25/18

Saturday, August 25th 9:00PM Eastern/ 6:00PM Pacific

Compensatory Call InThe Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.

#ANTIBLACKNESS

This week, President Donald J. Trump provided an excellent reminder that the System of White Supremacy is a global enterprise by tweeting his solidarity with and concern for Whites in South Africa. The U.S. president was addressing current efforts on the continent to return stolen land to black people. Nationwide prison strikes in the United States also addressed the ongoing enslavement of black people. In North Carolina, protesters banded together to topple a monument to a Confederate soldier. Many such monuments remain throughout the state, country and world. Suspected Race Soldiers in Georgia may have responded to the possibility of the first black female governor in the state by closing a number of voting facilities in the state’s “black belt”. They rescinded this decision after the public outcry. Not surprisingly, the voting facilities were closed in areas with a high population of black voters. And sadly, former United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan passed away at the age of 80 (cowbell). In addition to mourning the loss of Annan and Aretha Franklin days earlier, C.O.W.S. listeners just became aware of the passing of author and Victim of White Supremacy Pamela Evans Harris. A long time contributor to The C.O.W.S. and the author of Black Love Is A Revolutionary Act and other titles, Pam died at the age of 64.
