The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 05/02/20

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.

May 2020 failed to burst open with sunshine and spring flare. The planet remains stifled by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. In the U.S. armed White protesters in Michigan stormed the state capitol, verbally attacked enforcement officials, ans brandished firearms while glaring at state lawmakers. A substantial number of states have begun to re-open and/or relax restrictions on certain business and social activities. We’ll review reports from Chicago and Mississippi that examine details of why the coronavirus is having a more detrimental impact on black people. We’ll also get another illustration of the alarming denial, suspicion and misinformation regarding this global health crisis.
