The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.

August 2015 marks the 50-year anniversary of the Watts disturbances of 1965, the 10-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and the breach of the levees, and the one year anniversary of Michael Brown Jr’s shooting death. The LAPD terrorism that produced the Watts conflagration was on display again this week; former detective Frank Lyga is suing for reinstatement after being terminated for making racist remarks. Black Louisiana residents continue to recuperate from the devastation. Things don’t look drastically improved in Ferguson. The manslaughter trial for the 2013 shooting death of Jonathan Ferrell open this week. Ferrell was described as a weed-smoking “zombie” who would not comply with the White officers commands. DailyKOS reported that, “He was first shot four times, then began to crawl and cry in pain, in which he was shot six more times while crawling, then two more times after he stopped.”
