Alton Sterling and Philando Castille, both African American were shot and killed by police officers last week in Louisiana and Minnesota. The tragedy and horror continued Thursday after a peaceful protest of the killings in Dallas with five police officers being killed and six others injured by a sniper who reportedly was upset about the police shootings. Condolences and words of compassion have been extended from everyone from mayors and governors to President Obama.
We have been here too many times. Marches, protests and condolences and conversation. While that’s all good. What next?
